He has said this to news agency ANI. He said about this, ‘Some leaders in Rajasthan tried to give vent to speculation that I am joining BJP, but I am not doing so. I have worked very hard to bring the Congress back to power in the state.

Significantly, senior BJP leaders have invited him to join the party, but close people say that Pilot is preparing to form his own front. Earlier on Tuesday, the Congress, taking action, removed Pilot as the Deputy Chief Minister and the President of the State Congress Committee, but was not dropped from the party. That means they have to do the formalities of leaving the party themselves.

During this period, two pro-pilot ministers Vishvendra Singh and Ramesh Meena were also dismissed from the cabinet.
