The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has issued new guidelines to advise telemedicine and help local hospitals to meet the growing demand for medical services during the Covid-19 epidemic. The H-1B visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows US companies to hire graduate-level workers in certain occupations where theoretical or technical expertise is required.
Earlier some legal experts had said that H-1B visa-holding clinics should allow assistance during the corona virus epidemic, following which new guidelines have come. Medical facilities, especially in rural areas, depend to a large extent on H-1B visa programs.
