Realme has introduced a new mid-budget smartphone with 5G support – Realme X50m. The novelty received a lot of cool flagship chips: a 120 Hz display, a dual front camera, a Snapdragon 765G chip, 30 W fast charging, and a 48-megapixel primary quad camera. And also quite attractive design and a very affordable cost. Realme has got a really god hold in India. This company is even giving sweat to Xiaomi in its budget segment. They have got a massive number of phones for each segment. That’s the reason they are going well in budget.

Battery and processor

The model is equipped with a 6.57 inch IPS display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 (FullHD +) and an aspect ratio of 20: 9. The refresh rate was 120 hertz. Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G powers it with support for networks of the 5th generation. RAM LPDDR4X with a capacity of 6-8 GB, permanent UFS 2.1 so far only 128 GB. The battery capacity of 4200 mAh, supports fast charging Dart Charting power of 30 watts. It is really good to hear that a chipset like 765G, which is probably going to have a decent performance and with 5G support in phones under this price segment. Till now, only flagships had 5G support. We can take this as a step of 5G to come in the budget segment.

Camera

For lovers of the selfie, the company equipped the gadget with two front sensors built into the corner of the display. The main module is super wide-angle at 16 megapixels and an auxiliary depth sensor at 2 megapixels. On the backside of the device, there is a quad camera, which includes a primary 48 MP sensor, an 8 MP super wide-angle lens, and a 119-degree viewing angle, a 2 MP macro lens, and a 2 MP black and white lens. The front camera supports video recording in 1080p at a speed of 30 frames per second, while the main camera supports 4K and 30 frames / s or 1080p and 60 frames/s.

Audio

The smartphone does not have a 3.5 audio jack and a memory expansion slot, but instead, the novelty boasts stereo speakers with support for Hi-Res Audio and Dolby panoramic sound. Also, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and NFC. Dimensions of the smartphone were 163.8 x 75.8 x 8.9 mm and weighed – 202 grams.

The base variant of Realme X50m with 6 + 128 GB of RAM and permanent memory, respectively. It will cost only $ 290 at the rate at the time of writing. There is also a smartphone version with 8 GB of RAM and the same 128 GB of permanent memory. It is priced at $ 330. The start of sales in China is scheduled for April 29.
