A history creator actor Irfaan Khan has passed away today, on April, 29 due to Colon infection. He has died after a long battle against cancer at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.
The actor’s spokesperson said in a statement that the last words of Irrfan Khan were, “I am confident that I have surrendered” these were some of the words he expressed in a note in which he wrote about his battle with cancer in 2018.
Irfan was admitted to the ICU on April 28 due to a Colon infection. Following the actor’s health deteriorated from some previous days, and he breathed his last on Wednesday, April 29.
Irfan Khan’s health had started declining since he detected the Neuroendocrine cancer had in 2018, and after it, he often went for treatment to London. Till now of three decades, Irrfan Khan has acted in more than 50 Indian films and has also won one National Award and four Filmfare Awards.
