The deadly coronavirus, which started from Wuhan, China, is spreading rapidly around the world. So far, more than 3,46,000 people have died due to the epidemic globally, while 54,95,000 people are infected by it. America ranks first in the list of countries worst affected by Corona in the world. More than 1.5 million people are infected with the virus in the country and more than 91 thousand people have died. At the same time, India has joined the top 10 countries due to the ever increasing cases of corona virus.
The number of corona virus infections in India has crossed 1.45 lakh. In the last twenty-four hours, 6535 new cases of corona virus have been reported and 146 people have died. According to the Union Health Ministry, the total number of cases of corona virus in the country has increased to 1,45,380. Of this, 80,722 are active cases, while 60,490 people have become healthy so far. A total of 4167 people have lost their lives due to the epidemic.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that cases may again rise in countries that have seen a decline in corona virus (COVID-19) infection. According to the organization, these countries may see a second wave of corona by trying to remove the applicable measures to prevent infection.
Mike Ryan, executive director of the WHO’s Health Emergency Program, said during a media briefing on Monday that we are among the first wave globally. Actually the disease is still increasing. He told reporters that the epidemic often comes in waves. This means that there is a possibility of further transition outbreaks in places where cases have subsided.
