For Lucas Kephart, it’s a passion that he has dedicated his life to, and his innovative approach to player development showcases the effort and dedication it takes to achieve success.
Growing up in Arroyo Grande, CA, Lucas earned a AA in Liberal Arts, a minor in Social Work, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with an emphasis on youth and community studies. He is currently developing the hitting skills of a wide range of athletes from youth through professional players, to help them earn a job at their respective next level.
Lucas Kephart faced his share of challenges, but that never stopped him from pursuing his passion for baseball. Despite tearing his UCL during his junior year in high school and limited playing time, Kephart found his true calling as a coach and went on to help improve players’ performance at the Hitter’s Lab.

His past achievements include being named Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2010, receiving a scholarship to play baseball at the University of Texas, winning the Big 12 League Champions in 2011, and being named Newcomer of the Week in April 2011.
Kephart works with hitters from all over the world, including the United States, Korea, Panama, Canada, and Japan, and he has helped players of all ages, both in baseball and softball. He is dedicated to helping his clients reach their full potential, and his innovative approach has made him a sought-after coach in baseball.
