Taiwanese company MediaTek has announced the new Octa-core Dimension 820 processor. This will be the company’s new flagship processor, which will be used in dual SIM 5G smartphones. It will use carrier aggregation technology, which will work to improve 5G network coverage in the region, so that the user can get faster download speed.
This processor provides 5G (VoNR) equivalent to VoLTE technology over Voice over New Radio (VoNR). Simply put, the company has the most advanced sub-6 Ghz 5G technology for Asia, North America and Europe, which is being designed as a mid-to-high-end processor.
Slightly below 1000 density
MediaTek’s new Octa-Core Dimension 820 processor is slightly below the Octa-Core Dimension 1000 processor in terms of performance. It has an Arm Cortex-A76 core, with a speed of 2.6 Ghz, four 2.0 Ghz Cortex-A55 core and five-core arm Mali-G57 graphics processing unit.
Will support 80MP camera
It also has MediaTek APU 3.0 AI for facial recognition and other functions. It supports 4K HDR video recording and HDR10 + media playback. Additionally, it also supports an 80-megapixel camera and 120Hz display. In this, the company has also given HyperEngine 2.0 to improve gaming performance.
Xiaomi, processor can come in OPPO phone
Dimension 820 processor with 5G technology 5G is quite powerful processor. It looks like Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765 chipset. MediaTek has not given any information about the release date of this processor yet, but companies like Xiaomi, Oppo and Motorola can use it in their 5G smartphones.
