Russia’s Sechinov University claims to have developed the world’s first corona vaccine. It is named Gam-COVID-Vac Lyo. According to the university, the vaccine trial on humans has been successful. Alexander Lukashev, director of Sechnov University’s Institute of Medical Parasitology Tropical and Vector-Born Diseases, says, “Our aim was to successfully produce the vaccine of Covid-19 to protect humans.” According to Alexander, the vaccine has been tested for safety. Soon it will be available in the market.

“The first and second vaccine trials have been completed,” Alexander Gintzberg, director of the Gamely Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, who designed the vaccine, told the Russian Defense Ministry official newspaper Krasnaya Zvezda. It will increase the immunity of the body to fight the virus and keep it for a long time. Alexander Gintesburg claims that there is a guarantee that the vaccine will protect Corona for the next two years.

According to Vadim Tarasov, director of the Institute for Translational Medicine and Biotechnology, the Gamely Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology has produced vaccines that have been successful in trials. According to the Russian news agency TASS, the first phase of the trial started from 18 with 18 volunteers attending. At the same time, the second phase of the trial started on June 23, in which 20 volunteers were given the vaccine.

According to Russia’s Ministry of Defense, two groups of volunteers have been included in the vaccine and the trial will end on July 15. A second part of the vaccine will be injected into the second group volunteers on 13 July. Who will give them immunity for a long time.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the first group of 50-person trials consisted mostly of servicemen. Apart from this, 5 women and 10 health workers were also placed in this group. The other group included the citizens of the city.
