I express my condolences to the families of those killed in this accident, as well as wish the injured as soon as possible. ‘
President Ramnath Kovind has also expressed grief over the death of laborers in the Auraiya road accident and expressed his condolences to the families of the dead. Ramnath Kovind wrote in his tweet that ‘I am deeply saddened to learn about the road accident in Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh. All necessary steps are being taken by the local administration to help the affected people. My condolences to the bereaved families. I wish the injured well soon. ‘
Let me tell you that a painful road accident has happened in Auraiya of Uttar Pradesh at around 3.30 am on Saturday morning. 24 workers have died in this horrific road accident. During the lockdown, these workers were returning to their homes riding in a truck that their truck collided with another truck near Auraiya. After this incident, the injured have been rushed to the nearest hospital. It is being told that all these laborers hailing from Bihar and Jharkhand were coming from Rajasthan. CM Yogi has ordered the suspension of the two police station presidents of the border where the incident has taken place in Auraiya. Explanation has been sought from the ADG and ID Agra Zone of SSP and Additional SP Agra of Mathura Agra.
Both truck owners have also been ordered to file a case.
On the Auraiya road accident, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep condolences to the families of laborers who lost their lives, terming it unfortunate. The Chief Minister has also directed that all the injured should be immediately provided medical facilities. CM Yogi Adityanath has also announced a financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh to the dead. The Yogi government will give 50 thousand rupees to the injured. In addition, the commissioner and IG Kanpur have also been ordered to visit the spot and immediately report the cause of the accident.
Earlier on Thursday, 6 workers of Bihar were killed in a painful road accident in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. All these laborers were residents of Gopalganj, Ara and Patna in Bihar, who were returning from Haryana to their homes on foot. This painful road accident occurred on the Muzaffarnagar-Saharanpur highway in Uttar Pradesh, where the workers going to their village on foot were trampled by a high speed bus. On Wednesday, eight workers lost their lives in a similar road accident in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, while more than 50 were injured. On Wednesday, in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh, a container bus filled with laborers collided with an empty bus. The accident was so horrific that eight people died on the spot while 50 were injured.
