new Delhi. Home Minister Amit Shah said on Wednesday that from June 1, only indigenous products will be sold in all canteens of central police forces. He said that this decision was taken after the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Every year 2800 crore goods are purchased from these canteen. Actually, Modi had said in the name of the country yesterday that we have to be vocal about local. That is, every Indian resident not only has to buy local products, but also to promote them proudly.
Home Minister Amit Shah also tweeted. He said that I also appeal to the public to make maximum use of the products made in the country.

In this direction today, the Ministry of Home Affairs has decided that all the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) canteens will now sell only indigenous products. This will be applicable to all CAPF canteens across the country from 01 June 2020. With this, 50 lakh families of about 10 lakh CAPF personnel will use indigenously.
