    With the addition of 2644 new cases in the previous 24 hours, now there are 40,019 COVID-19 cases in India. 27,745 cases are currently active and being treated. 10,945 patients are confirmed as recovered and discharged. 1325 deaths are registered so far in India. Around 32 states and union territories are affected by this pandemic in India.

    In the last 24 hours, around 2644 fresh cases are confirmed. 831 patients recovered successfully, and 92 news deaths are recorded. 790 new cases in Maharashtra, 333 in Gujarat, and 384 in Delhi were recorded.

    Maharashtra is the most affected state in India, as with the addition of 790 new patients, there are around 12296 confirmed cases so far. 9775 cases are currently active. With the addition of 121 new recovered cases, now there are around 2000 recovered cases in Maharashtra. A total of 521 deaths are confirmed, out of which 36 are confirmed in the previous 24 hours.

    Gujarat is also harshly affected by this pandemic, and around 5054 cases are confirmed in Gujrat so far. 3896 patients are still active and being treated. 896 cases are confirmed as recovered, and 262 fatalities are registered so far in Gujrat. 

    Delhi is the third state/Union territory, where the number of cases is more than 4000. As per the source, there are a total of 4122 confirmed cases in Delhi, out of which 384 cases were recorded yesterday.
