After 49 new deaths in Maharashtra, the death toll from Coronavirus in Maharashtra is 1,068, while the total cases of Covid-19 have risen to 29,100. The number of cases registered on Friday was less than Thursday’s 1,602. However, despite this, it was second in the list of most corona affected states in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health, the number of patients recovering after the release of 505 Covid-19 patients from the hospital has gone up to 6,564, while there are 21,468 active cases (who are undergoing treatment).

The state has so far conducted corona testing of 2,50,436 people, which is the highest in the country. There are a total of 3,29,302 home quarantines and 16,306 camp quarantines. The government has created a total of 1,473 active containment zones in the state.

Talking about Mumbai alone, there are a total of 17,671 cases of corona in the city and 655 deaths have occurred. The number of patients recovering from Corona in the city is 4,568.
