There has been a record increase in cases of corona virus in the country on Monday. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, from Sunday 9 am to 9 am Monday, 5242 new cases of corona virus have been reported across the country, which is the highest number of cases in a single day in the country. The total number of corona virus cases in the country has increased to 96169 after the total corona virus cases reported on Monday.
According to the Health Ministry, during the last 24 hours, 2715 people have been cured of Corona virus in the country and the total number of people who have been cured of this virus has now increased to 36823. However, a total of 3029 people have lost their lives due to Corona virus in the country. Within the last 24 hours, 157 people have died in the country.
In case of Corona virus cases in states, Maharashtra has the highest number of cases where 33053 cases have been reported so far and more than 1198 people have lost their lives. Gujarat is followed by Maharashtra with 11379 cases, followed by Tamil Nadu at number three where 11224 cases have been reported and 10054 cases have been reported in Delhi.
