Flight has almost reached into Uzbekistan’s airspace when the team on the ground on the ground asked the crew to return back to the Indian base when they released that one of the pilots had tested positive. Meanwhile, the crew has been quarantined and another plane has been sent to bring back stranded Indians’’, the official further added.

Sources confirmed in the DGCA that this appeared to be a lapse, as the pilot was not supposed to resume his duty or to be on the plane if he was found positive.
