A government release in the matter said that Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has ordered an inquiry to former Principal Secretary (Health) JP Gupta and to submit a report within 24 hours. The name of the obituary is Chhagan Makwana. 67-year-old Makwana was admitted to the district hospital, after which he was found corona positive in the test on 13 May. The administration then quarantined his family.

Kavana’s brother Govind said that the security staff found his body in unclaimed condition at the BRTS bus station. Police was informed about this. The police then took the body to another hospital for postmortem.
