Xiaomi is wearing the crown for India’s top-selling brand now for about six quarters. This is because the brand has successfully connected with the Indian consumers. Even, they are the only ones who have got a sweat to flagship and brands like Samsung, mainly because of their aggressive pricing and more features than the competition. Now another competitor of Xiaomi is emerging named Realme, well this is the talk about another day.
This time we have got the list of the device which will be receiving the MIUI 12 update.
The main indication that the update is near:

It is no secret that Xiaomi is working on their big update if the firmware for a long time when their last update came. It’s been months since the previous month. Even the company has aggressively shown some hints about the update by making some announcements.
The fresh hint of the update is not about any announcements. It is about the list of devices leaked. This is always the way of update arrival. We still don’t have the full list of devices, but the first batch lift is rolling in.
It is very obvious that the devices which were launch at the end of 2019 will receive the update first. The latest and upper midrange devices will be getting the update the first. It is also confirmed that the software will be available on the Mi 9, Mi 9 SE, and Mi 9 Pro. In addition to this part, other devices getting the update are the Mi 8, the Mi CC9 Pro, Mi CC9, and Mi CC9e. The update is also decided to be made available for the Mi MIX 3, Mi MIX 2S, and Mi MIX 2 as well.
Mi series phones are not the only ones to give the updates, Redmi phones are also taken under consideration, so the update is extended to Redmi smartphones too, with the Redmi “K” series phones being the first one to get the updates. One of the first phones from the series will be the flagships, Redmi K30 series phones. They will be followed by the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro. Then by lower and mid-range phones, including Redmi note 8pro, and so on. As for the first batch, flagships will be given priority. The next batches will be out soon in the coming months.
Apart from this, Redmi models such as the Redmi 8 Pro, Redmi Note 8, Redmi 7 Pro, Redmi Note 7, Redmi 8, Redmi 8A, Redmi 7 and the Redmi 7A are also tipped to get this new MIUI 12 update.
