The market opened up on the first day of trading on Monday in the week. Sensex opened up 150.53 points and Nifty opened 21.45 points up. However, the Sensex declined in the first minute of trading, before the market closed on Friday. The Sensex opened 173.39 points higher on that day and the Nifty opened 39.65 points higher. During the day’s trading, the Sensex slipped below 352 points. At the end of trading, the Sensex was down 25.16 points or 0.08% at 31,097.73 and the Nifty was down 5.90 points or 0.06% at 9,136.85.
US markets closed with a rise on Friday
On Friday, along with the US markets, the markets of other countries also saw an increase. The US market Dow Jones gained 0.25 per cent to close 60.08 points at 23,685.40. At the same time, Nasdaq, the other US market, gained 70.84 points to close at 9,014.56, up 0.79 percent. On the other hand, the S&P closed up 11.20 points at 2,863.70, up 0.39 percent. China’s Shanghai Composite was up 12.79 points at 2,881.25, up 0.45 percent. Markets in France, Germany and Canada also closed higher.
Death in the country and the world due to corona

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Sunday gave a full account of the self-sufficient India package worth more than Rs 20 lakh crore. The package was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday. This package also includes packages that have been released prior to this announcement. After the PM’s announcement, the Finance Minister was announcing packages and reforms for different sectors every day from Wednesday to Sunday. Sunday was its fifth and final stage.
