The meeting of the Congress Legislature Party ended at the CM residence in the midst of the ongoing political crisis in Rajasthan. After this, Congress MLAs have left the CM residence by riding in buses. Earlier, according to news agency ANI, media advisor to CM Ashok Gehlot informed that 107 MLAs were present in the meeting. According to the information, this meeting started about three hours late than the scheduled time.
Earlier, the news agency PTI had informed that about 100 MLAs had reached the Chief Minister’s residence by 12:30 pm, about an hour before the start of the meeting. Some legislators considered close to the pilot were not reached at this meeting. According to news agency PTI, these MLAs are GR Khatana, Harish Meena, Ramesh Meena, Vishvendra Singh, Ved Prakash, Mukesh Bhakar and Ramnivas Gawriya.
Significantly, the party has already claimed that it has the support of 109 MLAs. The party has rejected the claim of Sachin Pilot, deputy chief minister and chairman of the party’s state unit, that the government does not have a majority. Explain that the party has issued a whip regarding this meeting. Rajasthan Congress in-charge Avinash Pandey had informed that disciplinary action will be taken against MLAs who do not attend the Congress Legislature Party without any information.
