- AAP MLA Jarwal and Kapil Nagar sent to Tihar Jail in the Dr. Rajendra Singh suicide case
AAP MLA Prakash Jarwal and colleague Kapil Nagar, accused in the Dr. Rajendra Singh suicide case, have been sent to Tihar Jail for 14 days in judicial custody. On Sunday, both of them were produced in the court in Tihar. In the coming days, the police will also sample the voice of the MLA. This is to be matched with an audio clip provided to the police by the victim’s family.
For this, the police had filed an application in Saket court, on which the MLA has also agreed. Police informed that the court was told that there is an audio clip of a phone conversation between an employee and MLA of doctor Rajendra Singh who committed suicide in this case a few months back. In which the accused MLAs were seen talking in a rude manner towards the doctor.
Police will sample the voice of Prakash Jarwal and his partner Kapil Nagar
After taking the vice sample, he will be sent to Rohini’s FSL lab for examination. Last month, Dr. Rajendra Singh, a resident of Nebrasarai area, hanged himself in his house. The victim’s family was responsible for the incident, the accused MLA and his accomplice, on the basis of which a case was filed under recovery, abetment to suicide. Police investigation revealed that the business of recovery from tanker contractors was going on. The DIU team of the district is investigating the case instead of the local police. A police officer said that the investigation will continue.
Here, Tiwari raised questions on Kejriwal’s silence
State BJP state president Manoj Tiwari questioned the silence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over the Aam Aadmi Party MLA Prakash Jarwal’s case. He said that the CM has taken a silent fast on the MLA and has not yet expelled the MLA from the party. Tiwari said that Jarwal used to ask for money in the name of getting the tanker installed in the Jal Board, whether the Delhi government did not get the idea or it was running with connivance.
