In the last two-three days, there has been a significant decrease in the pace of corona positive cases in the state. After bringing devotees from Nanded, a maximum of 331 cases were reported in a single day on May 3, while 10 new cases were registered on Wednesday. On Thursday also 15 new cases were added, which combined has now increased the number of Corona positive people to 1939 in the state. Of these, 33 died, while 200 people have recovered and returned home.

Police arrived in Amritsar’s hall market to shut down retail shops. Similar situations were seen in many areas of the city.
