Taking a quick action, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (CM Yogi Aditynath) has suspended SHO of Fatehpur Sikri Agra, SHO of Kosi Kala Mathura, with immediate effect on the horrific road accident (Auraiya road accident) in Auraiya. Apart from this, strict warning has been given to the concerned Deputy Superintendents of Police and Additional Superintendents of Police.
The Chief Minister has expressed grief over the accident and has announced compensation of two lakh to the kin of the deceased and 50,000 to the seriously injured. On the other hand, a case of murder conspiracy has been registered against both the owner and the driver of the truck. Orders have been given to seize the truck immediately.
President Ramnath Kovind has expressed grief over the Auraiya road accident. He said, ‘Auraiya, deeply saddened to know about the road accident in Uttar Pradesh. All necessary steps are being taken by the local administration to help the affected people. My condolences to the bereaved families. I wish the injured well soon.

CM Yogi has directed that immediate treatment should be provided to the workers injured in the incident. All their possible help and relief should be provided. So far, 24 workers have died in the Auraiya road accident, while more than 35 workers are injured.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the accident. The PM said, ‘Road accident in Auraiya in Uttar Pradesh is very sad. The government is busy in relief work. I express my condolences to the families of those killed in this accident, as well as wish the injured as soon as possible.

BJP National President JP Nadda said, ‘The mind is distracted by the news of untimely demise of 23 workers in a road accident in Auraiya in UP. I request all BJP workers to fully cooperate with the administration in relief work. My condolences to the families of the victims. I pray to God for quick recovery of the injured.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted that, I am hurt by the news of the death of 24 laborers and injuries to many people in a road accident in Auraiya in Uttar Pradesh. I express my deepest condolences to the families of the dead and wish the injured well soon. ‘

The Samajwadi Party has also expressed grief over the accident. The party’s official Twitter handle wrote, ‘Extremely sad! The ‘genocide’ of the laborers continues due to the government’s neglect. 24 workers killed, 35 seriously injured, heart-wrenching in road accident on Auraiya, Kanpur highway. Condolences to the families of the victims. Wish the injured get well soon. Government should give Rs 10 lakh compensation to the families of the deceased.
Regarding the accident, Samajwadi Party National President and former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that such accidents are not death but death. Akhilesh tweeted, “Indescribable grief and prayers for the injured on the death of more than 24 poor migrant laborers in the road accident in Auraiya of UP. Knowing everything … even seeing everything … see how the heartless people and their supporters who hold silence justify this neglect. Such accidents are not deaths but murders.
BSP leader Mayawati has also expressed grief over the accident and has put the responsibility on the government. He said that laborers are going under compulsion. The central and state governments have proved to be a complete face in getting the workers safely to their homes.
