    Bihar government announced to increase lockdown till 30 June

    Patna. The fourth phase of the lockdown ends on 31 May. The central government has announced Unlock 1.0 from 1 June. But in view of the increasing risk of corona infection, Nitish government has taken a big decision and extended the lockdown till 30 June. Now the lockdown will continue for 5 whole June. The Home Department has also issued an order in this regard.

    Bihar lockdown extended till 30 June

    According to Home Department Chief Secretary Aamir Rautani, the Bihar government has decided that after the discussion, the lockdown in the state should be continued for a month. Instructions have also been issued to officers of all departments and regional administrations for its compliance. Also, the orders and instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs have been asked to ensure strict compliance. It is noteworthy that the central government has said that the lockdown will be opened in a phased manner from June 8, but there is no such mention in the order of the Bihar government.

    Corona continues to wreak havoc in Bihar, the number of infected reached 3692

    Significantly, with 127 new cases of Coronavirus infection in Bihar, the number of people infected with Kovid-19 in the state has increased to 3692. So far 23 people have died due to coronavirus infection in the state. According to information received from the Bihar Health Department, in the last three weeks, most of the infected are migrant laborers returning from outside and due to this the number has increased more than double in a week.
