Corona infection among the policemen of Delhi is increasing. After Uttam Nagar, Lajpat Nagar and North Avenue Police Station also came under the virus. Apart from these, the SO (Inspector) of DCP and his staff SI in Shahdara District have also been found Corona positive. Around 165 policemen in Delhi have become corona positive, while around 30 have also recovered. On Sunday, the report of twelve police personnel came positive.
The Delhi Police jawans getting corona infected are being sent to the hospital, while the staff coming in contact with them are being given home quarantine instructions. Police personnel had been doing duty all day since the lockdown. Pocket investigation on the road, feeding people or following the rules of social distancing were all employed.
An SI and an inspector, ASI, head constable and two constables at the Hari Nagar police station in the Western District have been found infected with corona. On the other hand, now Sub Inspector Naveen Corona posted in North Rohini has been found infected. Sub-inspector Sandeep posted at Badli police station, Pradeep posted at Paschim Vihar West police station has also been sent to Quarantine.
