3000 people from Bihar trapped in the lockdown left for Faridabad by train to their village. While leaving, he thanked the Faridabad administration. On the question of coming again, he said, now God knows when to come to Faridabad. The administration had given a message to about 4500 people registered on e Disha portal and send them by train. But only 3000 people arrived to board the train. Passengers were dispatched from Old Railway Station in two trains with 22 coaches each. The train will go from Faridabad to Katihar. From there the local administration will make arrangements to take the passengers to their destination.
According to DC Yashpal Yadav, arrangements were made to send the migrants by train for the second time in four days. The first train was sent from Faridabad to Damoh on 12 May. On Friday, two trains carried 3000 passengers to Katihar and Barauni districts of Bihar. Before this, medical checkup of the passengers was done. Tickets have been provided free of cost to all passengers by the state government.
