Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi passed away. At the age of 74, he breathed his last. Ajit Jogi was admitted to hospital after a cardiac arrest. Through the Twitter account of Amit Jogi, it has been informed that the funeral of Ajit Jogi will be held in his native land Gorela tomorrow i.e. on Saturday.
He was undergoing treatment at the hospital in Raipur for 21 days. According to the information received, he also underwent a cardiac arrest on Friday, after which his condition became more serious. Ajit Jogi breathed his last at Narayan Hospital in the capital Raipur on Friday.

Jogi was hospitalized on 9 May following a cardiac arrest. The staff of the former chief minister said that while having breakfast in the morning on 9 May, Jogi suddenly felt chest pain and started having trouble breathing. He was with his wife Renu Jogi and he informed the staff at home. He was then taken to the hospital and placed on a ventilator as the situation became critical. Son Amit Jogi also reached Bilaspur as soon as his father was informed of his health.
