When the officials asked to stay in the houses after explaining several times, the prodigal youths threw stones, shouting slogans against the police.     CSP Juni Indore Dishesh Aggarwal said that the incident happened in Prakash’s garden area. On May 15, Mohammad Yunus alias Yunus, a resident of this area, went to Fatiha in the cemetery after breaking the lockdown. When the policemen came to know about this, they had filed a case against Yunus for violating the lockdown. He disappeared since then. On Tuesday, when some soldiers of the police station came to arrest him on being informed about Yunus area, people from his side took to the streets to protest.

    Police-administration shouted slogans of hi-hi

    When the police appealed everyone to stay in the houses citing lockdown, they were agitated. Accusing the police of committing excesses, they started creating a ruckus by raising slogans of the police-administration. Hundreds of people came together to the new bridge, including women and children, raising slogans against the police. Seeing the crowd, CSP Dishesh Aggarwal called the police force of other police stations. Encouraged by this, some youths in the crowd started throwing stones at the police personnel. In the rescue, the policemen took out a pistol to run away the crowd and ran away with sticks. People in the group roamed the streets of the area. Later, the police team searched and caught 6 stone pelting men from the area. Others are being searched based on CCTV footage and videos made by people.
