Mohammad Asim arrest for posting objectionable posts on social media

A youth has been arrested for posting objectionable posts on social media against a woman working in the BJP’s IT cell. The accused was identified as Mohammad Asim (33), a resident of Tughlakabad Extension area. 

The accused is a cloth merchant. On March 19, the Special Cell’s Cyber ​​Cell filed a case under the Information Technology Act on a complaint made by the victim in this case. The accused had written objectionable things on social media by showing the victim with someone else. Some posts were also shared on social media with people, including his pictures. All posts posted on Twitter and 26 posts on Facebook have been deleted so far.

During the investigation of the case, the police gathered information about the accused and then he was arrested in this case. Police have also seized the device from the possession of the accused, through which these posts were posted on social media.
