Crime bureau of investigation (CBI) today summoned Actor Rhea Chakraborty and his father as part of the investigation into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s family made a level of allegation against Ms. Chakraborty, his girlfriend, of siphoning of Sushant’s wealth, fraud, and abetment of suicide. A case has been filed in Patna which was last week upheld by the court.

Meanwhile, Enforcement Directorate (ED) has also been investigating the money laundering case against Rhea who is accused of robbing crores of money from the late actor’s account. 

A special CBI’s special investigating team is in Mumbai since Friday after the Supreme Court ordered the inquiry into all the angles related to Sushant’s death. 

On Sunday, Sushant’s friend and flatmate Siddharth Pithani was also summoned by the CBI and has been interrogated for over 8 hours.

Sushant. 34, was found dead in Mumbai’s Bandra residence on June 14.

The actor’s death left thousands of his fans in shock and awe, thus fueled massive controversies and conspiracy theories. 

The Shiv Sena government in Maharashtra was at the receiving end for not making recommendations of the CBI probe into Sushant’s death case. It was then the petition filed by the Bihar government and Sushant’s family in Supreme Court that asked CBI to take over the investigations.
