    BJP’s ‘Save Maharashtra’ movement from today, 20 lakh people applied to return; 4 laborers killed in road accident

    In the last 24 hours, 2,033 cases of corona were reported in Maharashtra. Along with this, 51 people have also died. The cases of corona infection in Maharashtra have crossed 35 thousand whereas a total of 1,249 people have died in the state. 35,058 cases have been reported in the state out of which 25,392 are active cases. According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, so far 21,152 cases have been reported in Mumbai in which 757 have died.

    BJP’s ‘Save Maharashtra’ movement against Uddhav government from today

    The Bharatiya Janata Party is going to start a ‘Maharashtra Bachao’ movement in the state from today (Tuesday) amid the Corona transition. Under this, the Mahavikas will submit a memorandum against the decisions of the Aghadi government on Tuesday to the party’s public representative, the district collector and the tehsildar. On Friday May 22, all party workers, officials and public representatives will stand with placards in their hands. Slogans against the government would be written on those placards. BJP state president Chandrakant Patil alleged that the Uddhav government had failed to stop the expansion of Corona.

    20 lakh laborers applied to return home

    There are 20 lakh laborers across the state, who are trying to return to their state. It mostly consists of laborers from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal. So far, about 3 lakh laborers have been sent by the Maharashtra government to their states. Apart from this, the government has no record of the workers who have gone from their private vehicles or on foot. This has been confirmed by the state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh himself.

    Four killed in truck and bus collision in Yavatmal

    A bus from State Transport in Solapur, Maharashtra has been the victim of an accident. Three migrant laborers and a bus driver have died in this accident so far. The bus was carrying migrant laborers from Jharkhand. The injured workers have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The bus was going towards Jharkhand with the migrants. The bus has hit the dumper from behind. 15 people are injured in the accident. It is being told that in Arani tehsil, a dump and a state transport bus took place. How terrible the accident was can be gauged from the fact that after the collision, the next part of the bus flew away.

    So far, 20 lakh people in the state have applied to go to their states outside, explaining to the migrant laborers engaged in line to catch the bus to make social distance.1026-bed hospital handed over to BMC

    One thousand bed hospital prepared by MMRDA for treatment of corona virus patients was transferred to BMC. On Monday, in the presence of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, MMRDA Commissioner RA Rajiv handed over BMC Commissioner IS Chahal to the Health Center (CHC) for Covid 19. This health center is of 1026 beds. There are 28 beds each in a total of 18 wards. Oxygen facility is available with 504 beds. Similarly, 9 wards have 5 beds each. In this way there are 522 beds, which is without oxygen. There are 10 mobile ICU beds together. There are currently 13 doctors, 8 nurses and 14 wardboys.

    Migrant laborers should not go to their villages with Corona: Uddhav

    Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has appealed to the public not to go to their villages and houses with Corona. He was addressing the people of the state after the fourth phase of the lockdown started on Monday. The Chief Minister said, the parts of the state which are green zones have to be protected. They are not to be allowed to become red zones. Those currently in the red zone have to be converted into green zones. Therefore, there will be no relaxation of restrictions imposed during lockdown in the Red Zone. ‘
