There have been 10 reported cases of corona infection in 24 hours in Punjab from Tuesday evening to 6 pm on Wednesday evening. This is a relief news for the state, which has come after several days of waiting. The number of Corona-positive cases had increased manifold ever since the stranded pilgrims were brought from Nanded to lockdown. If we take a look at the figures of May 3, then 331 new patients were admitted in a single day. However, out of the total 1924 patients, 33 have died in various districts of the state so far. 200 people have recovered.
According to the special bulletin released by the state health department on Wednesday evening, so far 46026 people have been tested. Out of these, the report of 40637 came negative, while the result of 3465 is yet to come.

According to the health department, the maximum number of infections in Ludhiana was confirmed on Wednesday. Apart from this, 2 patients were found in Ropar, 1 in Jalandhar, Kapurthala and Hoshiarpur.
