New Delhi. The lockdown in the country has been extended to 31 May to deal with coronaviruses. For this, the central government released new guidelines on Sunday. Accordingly, restrictions on domestic and international flights for passengers will continue. Apart from this, Metro train service will also not be started. States will be able to start the movement of buses and other vehicles between other states according to their own. But excluding the Containment Zone.
The government operated trains and buses for migrant laborers during lockdown-3 (May 4 to 17). Special trains also started from New Delhi. Apart from this, the return of stranded Indians to other countries started through Vande India and Samudra Setu Mission.
Railways run special labor trains
The railways ran 1000 Shramikar Special trains for migrant laborers stranded in other states due to the lockdown. Through them, more than 10 lakh people have been transported to their home states. During the journey, passengers are being screened in these trains and they are also being provided food and water.
