    War against Coronavirus is People driven: Said PM Modi in Mann ki Baat

    It was 26 April, and PM interacted with the countrymen on the topic – ‘Corona Free India’, through his show – ‘Mann ki Baat‘ in 64th episode. As the Corona Pandemic is strengthening its root and infecting the citizens, it is a massive point of tension for a Prime Minister. As the statistics are multiplying in India, this was an essential interaction between the PM and countrymen.

    The expectations were that PM may take important decisions regarding the Lockdown 2.0, or PM Modi may discuss the steps taken against this pandemic. It was also expected that PM may ask to citizens to take some essential actions.

    In his 64th episode of Mann ki Baat, PM started with Namashkar and said that he received a lot of pieces of advice through Phone calls and messages. He said that this fight against COVID-19 is People driven, and it will be studied in the upcoming period. PM appreciated the Diya, thali and participation of each countryman, and he also praised the work of farmers, as well as corona warriors.

    He appreciated the feelings of 130 crore citizens. He told us that the government had created a digital platform to connect Doctors, ANM, warriors, etc. The digital platform is – CORONAWARRIORS.GOV.IN. PM asked to join with this portal and give a helping hand to defeat this pandemic.

    As expected, PM revealed how the Indian Post services, Railways and transporting medicines. He said that the efforts of Doctors and Nurses are appreciable and any violent act against these warriors will not be tolerated. PM asked to follow the protocol given by Aayush Ministry to boost up your immune system.

    According to the source, there are a total of around 26,384 confirmed cases so far in India. 19,617 cases are still active, and their treatment is going on. 5941 patients have been recovered successfully and discharged from the Hospitals. 826 patients lost their lives due to COVID-19.
