Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s father named Aanand Singh Bisht passed away at AIIMS. He was declared died due to multi-organ failure at New Delhi, AIIMS hospital. He was undergoing treatment at the gastroenterology department of All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

CM’s father left for his heavenly abode at 10:44 AM, chief Secretary of Home Awanish Awasthi said in a statement. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra the general secretary of Congress condole on the death of Adityanath’s father.

CM’s father was admitted when his health was deteriorated and his condition was serious doctors said. He had many critical issues like his liver and kidneys was not working properly, admitted with an acute liver infection and was being treated by a multi-disciplinary team of doctors as a senior doctor of the hospital said.

Bisht was 89 years old, admitted in the hospital since March 13 and was on a ventilator in ICU.
