Mumbai: The number of corona positive patients in Maharashtra has increased to 33053. During the last 24 hours, 2347 new cases have been reported in Maharashtra and 63 people have died. In Maharashtra, the number of deaths due to corona virus has now reached 1198. However, 600 patients have also been discharged after recovering. So far 7688 patients have been recovered and discharged in Maharashtra.

The number of corona positive patients in Mumbai has increased to 20150. There have been 38 deaths from Corona in Mumbai during the last 24 hours. The number of deaths from Corona in Mumbai has so far reached 734.

44 new cases in Dharavi

44 new cases of Corona have been reported in Mumbai’s biggest hotspot Dharavi. The total number of corona positive patients in Dharavi has now increased to 1242. So far 56 people have died here from Corona. On Sunday, 62 new Corona infected cases were reported in the Navi Mumbai area adjacent to Mumbai. The number of corona-infected people has increased to 1190 in Navi Mumbai. Due to Corona, 5 people died on Sunday. A total of 31 people have died so far.

Lockdown extended till 31 May

The Thackeray government of Maharashtra has extended the lockdown till 31 May. The decision of the state government has been welcomed by Union Minister Ramdas Athawale. Athawale said that the state government’s decision to lockout in Maharashtra is correct and lockout is necessary till the corona infection is over. In view of the increasing likelihood of Corona in Maharashtra, the decision of the state government to implement the 4th phase of lockout from 18 May to 31 May is appropriate and welcome. New cases of corona in Akola, Nanded, Badlapur

37 new cases of corona have been reported in Akola, Maharashtra. The total number of corona infections has reached 257. 17 people have died due to corona while one has committed suicide. 13 new corona cases have been reported in Naded. The number of corona-infected people has increased to 97. So far 5 people have died here due to Corona. Today 16 new cases of corona were reported in Badlapur area adjacent to Mumbai. The number of corona-infected people in Badlapur area has increased to 114. So far 2 people have died due to corona.

PPE Kit for Namaz

BJP leader Haji Arfat Sheikh has demanded from the Maharashtra government that the month of Ramadan is coming to an end, all the Muslim brothers want to offer Eid prayers, in such a way, they should be allowed to wear Namaz by wearing PPE kits. PPE kits are being used to avoid the risk of corona, so it is safe. In such a situation, by giving a discount of 2 hours, all the Muslim society should be allowed to read Namaz by wearing PPE kit after fixing the place by the government.
